To be eligible to dual enroll, students must:
- Be in the 6th - 12th grade
- Have successfully completed at least one high school level course
- Be enrolled as a Seminole County Public School (SCPS) student, a registered Home School student with SCPS, or as a student at an eligible private school.

Dual enrolled students must maintain the following grade point average (GPA) in order to remain eligible for Dual Enrollment:
- A 3.0 high school GPA for Academic Dual Enrollment
Submit eligible test scores
- Students following the Academic Dual Enrollment opportunity must have SAT (order from College Board), ACT, or Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (PERT) scores that place them into college-level coursework in all three areas of reading, writing and math.

- Maintain a 2.0 cumulative Seminole State College GPA.
